Uma has been teaching math and chemistry to Skanda since his 9th grade. She also tutored him in Hindi in 6th and 7th grade. She is in excellent teacher, with a lot of patience to understand the child’s frustration and difficulties and address it. She builds very good rapport with the child so that she can get the child to work. Skanda has developed a lot more structure and discipline under her influence than he did before.

To Begin with, Ms Uma is an extremely hard working physics tutor. She has always helped me understand complex and challenging equations, formulas or even methodologies of theories. Some of the times I was afraid of asking the things I didn’t understand for the reason that I had a small voice in my head saying she would make fun of me, but I felt very comfortable with Ms Uma after the first 5-6 sessions. Just under 1 school year I had been educated with this intelligent and mind driven women who spent hours upon hours to understand the most basic equations so I could fully memorize it and understand it to 100%. Thank you Ms Uma for sharing all the positive energy whenever I was feeling tired or got a lower grade expected on a test. All the best in the future and I hope to be taught by you later in life.

It is such a blessing to have Uma Ma'am as my teacher. First things first, I never had a liking for tuition. But since I needed help with my science, I attended my first ever tuition, Ma'am's class. The result was unexpected! It was not like tuition, it was more like an enrichment lesson whereby I was actually able to learn a lot and have fun at the same time! Rain or shine, Ma'am lessons are always golden periods, and I have always enjoyed them to the core. Ma'am always makes sure that I fully understand what she teaches. She always asks me if I have understood everything plenty of times before moving on so as to make sure that I am ready for the consecutive lessons. Uma Ma'am's lessons are also very engaging because she never fails to give real life examples for science concepts, which are extremely helpful when one is not very familiar with a particular concept. On the whole, Ma'am lessons are very helpful and everyone will benefit from her wonderful coaching!

First of all a teacher should establish a friendly behavior towards the student. Uma mam made me feel like I came home. She was honestly an amazing teacher who not only stuck to the books but who always wants to explore infinity and beyond. I ended increasing my CGPA massively after uma Mam's tutoring. Uma helped me greatly for my math exam. Before studying with Uma, I tried to study most of the material on my own. I was not able to fully understand some topics and realised that I was going to need some help. I found Uma when there were only one or two months left before my actual exam. I was really tensed as I had already lost a lot of time and I did not think I would pass. During the first lesson with Uma, she made sure I created a detailed plan and knew exactly what I needed to learn before continuing with our lessons. Gradually, after each lesson we started completing topics left and right. By the time my final exam came around we had finished all the topics I needed to learn and I was revising day and night.
